My friends and I (from Canada) had a wonderful day at chef Licia's house. The course was held in her very cute and folksy but fully-equipped kitchen. The whole house, in fact, was filled with interesting knick-knacks from all around the world. We cooked batter-fried vegetables, homemade tagliatelle, chicken and strawberry tiramisu. Simple but truly delicious recipes along with a... More

I spent two weeks in Italy in May 2013, and this tour was definitely a highlight of our trip. First of all, it was private for the four of us who were traveling together--no crowds, no cranky museum employees--just us and our tour guide, Luca, in a beautiful Tuscany setting. Luca is proud to come from the Tuscany region and... More

I would definitely recommend Arianna and friends for their very personal and attentive services. We recently did a family cooking class with Arianna and Ester and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We also did 2 private tours with Isabelle of San Gimignano and Florence. Isabelle is a gifted and extremely knowledgeable guide who helped us... More

Arianna and friends.......book them up you will not be dissapointed! From the day we enquired about the Tuscan cookery class the communication and service was flawless. Everything was arranged smoothly and effiently. The cookery class was superb. There was only me and my wife, and we loved it. Massimo and Licia are the friendliest of people and there stories and... Massimo and the entire team at Arianna & Friends do an amazing job. This was our 4th booking with them and it was terrific. Experiencing 2 different wineries in a half day tour with a wonderful lunch - could not have asked for more UNTIL my husband purchased my wine barrel ... this made the day! Will absolutely book with... More

Although I was in Italy on a group tour, I was able to take off on the odd couple of days and do my own thing. An absolute highlight was being taken throught the Vespa Museum by Massimo of Arianna and Friends. Massimo was waiting at Pontedera Station, and had given me excellent instructions on how to get there. We... More

Ciao Rebecca, I was so happy this morning when I opened my tripadvisor profile and found your wonderful words. It was such a pleasure for me to show you the Piaggio Museum and the industrial district of Pontedera. I am glad that you enjoyed Marta's and my guidance. As you could notice, we also liked the tour and your company... More

We spent two days with Massimo touring a cheese factory, an olive mill and the greatest adventure of all -- truffle hunting with a man and his dog. All three experiences were some of the best I've had in Italy mainly because Massimo tailors the tours to your individual needs and expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to... Our time in Tuscany was a short because we were on a cruise. Although we had a little trouble making it on time to meet Massimo, he patiently waited for us to take us to Aldo's house. We felt extremely welcomed and had such a memorable experience. The pizza, olive oils and dessert were all amazing. I am so happy... More
