From what I saw Dr Cave and Cornwall beaches are one and the same beach with their own entrance fees. Cornwall was $5. Dr Cave appeared to have the better / more modern facilities. Large enough beaches on a non cruise day and very very pretty on a hot sunny day. Outside of the view they are nothing special but... More

By far the best beach experience I've had in Jamaica. Pros: * Clean * Family friendly * BEAUTIFUL clear water * Sandy Beach (no rocks) * Rum punch and bottled water handed to you as soon as you walk in * The open bar consisted of cold beer and mixed rum drinks (other specialty drinks were available at cash bar).... We did a beach party excursion to this beach, so it wasn't open the public at that time, it was only open to cruise ship passengers. We rented an umbrella for $6 that shaded two chairs and the excursion price included rum punch and lunch on the beach. It is a beautiful beach, highly recommended if you want a day... More

Not a bad beach but very small and closed in. Pay to go in, pay for a chair, pay for a umbrella and please leave the sand behind :)

exact Google map location: 18.48851,-77.928887 was slightly overcrowded and noisy due to to constant dance music and beach activities. Shore line is rather short. $89 looks pricy to me. I am not interested in free drinks at all. But I am cruising for sun and emerald sea water of the Caribbean. Sun I can get on ship deck, the water... More

On March 20th, a group of us on spring break with high school seniors and their younger siblings hit Cornwall Beach through an excursion (Irie Mon Beach Party) booked through Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. Leaving Falmouth, we drove to Cornwall Beach on a nice air conditioned tour bus. It took about 45 minutes to and hour to get... More

I have lived in Jamaica for 36 years and never visited Cornwall Beach. However on Thursday last week I went with my two daughters for a few hours. It was just wonderful. You can order lounge chairs and an umbrella at the entrance. We parked ourselves near the waters edge which was blue by the way and a lovely smiling... More
