Awesome beach and away from all the crowd. Worth the short walk down to it. Had the place to ourselves for almost two hours the one day. Private, intimate setting and gorgeous black sand. But really guys, here's the million dollar question - all those empty loungers and you won't rent them out to non guests. Truth is most of... More

Thank goodness we found this beach or we would have thought that all St Lucia beaches were jammed with cruise ship tourists (e.g. Sugar Beach). This has real volcanic sand (not imported white stuff) and most importantly we had the whole beach to ourselves. Bliss.

Last year (2012) we scheduled a tour of Jalousie Beach through Spencer Ambrose tours. We had a great time at the base of the Pitons swimming and snorkeling, however, every other cruise ship on the island had tours there. It became very crowded about noon and the water was too cloudy for snorkeling. This year (Spring 2013) i emailed Spencer... More

This is the best beach on the island . Completely isolated, not as rough as the eastern area. Simpy beautiful ! A must try. I visit 2x in 4 days

This is a beautiful place. But don't tell everyone, lets keep it quiet so we can enjoy the seclusion and peaceful atmosphere. The beach is accessed by water or through the Anse Chastanet resort. The road to Anse Chastenet is another experience in itself. rocky, steep, twisting, with magnificent views along the way. Keep our eyes on the road !

You can get here by water taxi, or if you stay at Anse Chastanet by their water taxi. The beach is pretty well deserted. The loungers are of a lower quality than the Anse. The service stops at 3 pm. The water is difficult to get in and out of given the many rocks, tough waves just at the "dip"... More

Please go and enjoy a buger for me. Tell Flora that I said Hello!! What a cool little place.I would recommend snorkling over from The Anse Chastanet and then gliding back on the current. The burger is so good I could of eaten it every day.

Terrific small lunch menu and possibly the world's greatest mohito. There is nothing to dislike, unless warm seas and white sands disturb you.

Thanks to the previous Tripadvisor posters who pointed us in the direction of this gem! After taking the twist, bumpy, potholed, "what the heck am I doing driving on this" road from Soufriere to Anse Chastanet, you park at the lot before the Security Gate. Walk the short distance to Anse Chastanet Beach (busy!) and when you are facing the... More

You do have to walk to get here through the smaller Anse Chastanet beach. It does have food and a bar until 3 PM.
