Like an Aztec Live Performance with acrobatics & comedy and a nice romantic buffet dinner on the beach with tiki torches.
Very unique and quaint area. Easily covered by foot. Many excellent restaurants and great shopping. You are never more than a short distance to Los Muertos beach and just a short walk along the beach to the center of town.
This is our 10th trip to Vallarta and we always stay in this area. We can walk to most things we want to do and taxis are always readily available if you choose to use them. As far as we are concerned, we do not feel a need to leave this area because it is so convenient and pleasant.

There are some gorgeous homes hidden in here and it shows a lot of pride. It is a nice stroll if you like to explore

The pier although a bit overstated has seemed to have added more pride with the locals keeping things a lot cleaner. The restaurants (too many too mention or visit) have got something for everyone. We caught the bus...

Between the beach, the large selection of restaurants, shops, vendors, and beautiful people from all walks of life, life just does not get better. Fine dining, casual, or nosh at a street cart. Happy Hours prevail. There is a great Saturday Market on Basillo Badillo where you can purchase locally grown, baked, made produce, breads, pies, yogurt, dips, spreads, tamales,...
