Dived here several times...an easy reef to take beginning divers to. Lots of animal life and interesting corals.

The three sections of Palancar offer diverse life, topography, and depth. There is something on Plancar to satisfy everyone.

Although you can tell there is a little environmental damage slowly occuring, the reef is beautiful and there are many great dive spots. Use Dive Palancar if you can, they are the best!

I have visited this dive site many times over the last 20 years. You dive to about 85 feet and then ascent gradually past beautiful walls to about 40 feet. There are several spectacular swim-throughs on the reef. The reef is part of a national park, so it is in excellent shape. This is one of the most spectacular dive... More

Great trip with Alberto's. Our guides snorkeled with us and found stuff to point out to the group. Great experience. Definitely recommend Alberto's.

We went on a rough day where 13 of the 20 tour customers did not have a good time (ie seasick, afraid of the water, general discomfort) and ended up being dropped... More

The wild life is not as abundant as other dive sites near the island but makes up for that with its beautiful coral heads and swim throughs. When our boat mates requested to go to Palancar Reef after my girlfriend and I had already been twice before...we... More

Amazing fish and coral. Like all of Cozumel's other reefs. I especially enjoyed Palancar Bricks to Caves. Lots of very cool swim-throughs and swim alongs within the larger coral structures.
