We had heard such great things about this park and were looking forward to it. It was a little pricey but we figured we'd go for it. We were disappointed. Most of the animals weren't out or weren't easily seen, the underground river was crowded and felt dirty (we couldn't wait to get out of it!) and there wasn't as... More

The natural lazy river is beautiful. Climbing up the cliffs to jump over two stories down is thrilling. The rope bridge and zipline into the water are fun (these are small). The food is good and the drinks are as well. If you go over the bridge on a stormy day be careful. This is not for the frail or... More

A beautiful, grand national park! We loved every minute of it, was our second visit. We all learned so much about the history of Mexico. The nightly show is amazing and something you will not forget.

A good place for a tourist to start learning about Mayan/ Mexican culture. Amongst ancient Mayan structures are nature attractions such as the swimable underground rivers (where they provide snorkel gear and towels), a beautiful aquarium, swimming w/ dolphins, butterfly enclosure, zoo and manatees. There are historical exhibits such as a Mayan ball court and Mayan village. Cultural exhibits like... More

There's a lot to explore here. The underground rivers were really fun, but we gave our snorkels in at the end of that and wanted to get them from a different place later but were told we could only get them from the place at the start, which was annoying. When we did go snorkelling there weren't any fish to... More

Xcaret is about 90 minutes from Cancun and on decent and well air conditioned busses. The trick of Xcaret is to do some research before you go to the park as if you only have 4 or 5 hours, you will have to pass up on some of the attractions. It is sold as an Ecopark, however, it's more a... More
