Thanks to other reviewers, I gave Yoga by the Way a try and have not been disappointed. I love this Yoga studio! Excellent classes and a lovely juice bar next door........beautiful setting, friendly staff, extremely skilled teachers......what's not to love? I also appreciate that all of the classes are in English & Spanish -- thank you!
I love the class in yoga by the way, the place is clean, fresh and they have great teachers, then when you are done you can have a super juice or food downstairs.
Great for beginners. My wife and I take Yoga classes in the US but only to relax ourselves. This class was great, the teacher was really helpful and calming...a great experience all-round. They have a nice area in the lobby where they sell books and meditation dvd's.
The teachers here are excellent, and the studio is great. I bought a 10-class pass and went almost every night I was in town. I did some of the most intense yoga I've ever done here (I'm still a semi-beginner), pushing myself so much further than I ever have before. This is a great, airy rooftop studio. Liked the instructor very much too. She was very positive and challenging.
cool yoga studio and great teachers..have had both instructors and both were awesome..they have mats but they could have used a little cleaning
Joining and committing to "Yoga by the Way" during this visit (Nov-dec 2012) in Playa del Carmen was the best adventure of my trip. This is the place to yoga when you are by the way. It is situated on top of the building. It is Vinyasa style and perhaps a bit challenging for beginners but of course you only do what your body can. Ellen is a beautiful sol and very inspirational.
This place was very popular and I can see why. Incredibly cool studio with great instructor. Right in town. If you like yoga, you certianly cannot miss this place.
I went to a one off lesson as I was only in Playa for a weekend. A Reasonably priced lesson in a lovely studio. The teacher was constantly correcting your positions for you, and I thoroughly felt like I had had a proper workout/stretch once the class was over.
