They have two cenotes. The one on the west side of the highway is way too commercial. Ask the attendent to go across the highway and unlock the gate to allow you into the more secluded one.

If you're in the area and want to cool your chaps, this place is the spot. There's a kid near the door who will rent you a life jacket if you can't swim. The pool itself is crystal clear and has a diving platform. There are benches for eating and a woodland setting. I wouldn't travel miles to come here...

A large cenote that is very nice to swim in. Excellent for snorkelling and cave diving. There is not cavern diving here. Plenty of parking and shade to cool off on a hot day.
Of all the cenotes this is probably not the most visually impressive as all of the cavern is underwater.
But it is a pretty pond with clear water (a bit of pond scum) and a good jumping platform. When you pay you also get to enter at Cenote Escondido which is more impressive with less floaty bits!
What is nice...

swimming in crystal water very deep not for the faint hearted but well worth doing can get a life jacket if you need to
The cenote water is always cool so it's a refreshing relief when it's hot in Playa (most of the time). Bring your snorkel gear to see the fish and the bottom. If you sit on the edge and dangle your feet the tiny fish will "kiss" your feet and give you a natural pedicure!
I like to swim in any Cenote arround Tulum to refresh and do some relax swiming. And then go and have food at any of Tulums Downtown Goood Restautants.
As in the title: refreshing but not much more. It doesn't have any cave, it's only a lake, but if you're tired of hot beaches it's nice to go there.
This was some of my families favorite cenote. We had already been to some of the beautiful cave type cenotes before this so had that beautiful experience, however this was a fun change since it was totally outdoors. The main fun was jumping off the platform into the water. There were very few people there, and all were very friendly....
