The water is warmer and you can swim there! The sand was really awesome, there is decent snorkeling there, and the scenery is great
My husband and I have snorkeled in some of the best places to snorkel in the world, so comparatively speaking this is poor, but that being said, if it is the just experience you want, it is ok.
Clear water, good for snorkeling. We took a day sailing trip and anchored here. We all jumped out and swam. The water was so clear you could see fish swimming under you.
The water was pretty crowded with all the different snorkel tour boats. I saw a few neat looking fish. It helps when the tour guide is throwing bread in the water to attract the fish.
Beautiful place to snorkle, swim or sun bath. Bring lots of sun tan lotion and anything else you may need or want because ther is nothing there but beauty and fish.
This was a great beach for snorkelling or swimming. Easily accessible. We saw whales in May. No shade. Palapas would be great!
We drove to Playa Santa Maria twice during our recent trip to Cabo. The ocean temperature is brisk in April, but it's not too bad.
