You will be amazed by the collection and the setting. This library holds thousands of priceless books on all subjects. It is quite a beautiful space loaded with treasures from centuries past. Well worth a visit, and it's just behind the Cathedral.

What can I say? It was incredibly moving to see 450 year old books. I only wish I could have turned a few pages. The long sense of history was evident as we wondered beside and below the stacks of the oldest library I've been in. A short visit because the library was closing but then we enjoyed other exhibits...

One goes to look at one room really. But gives a glimpse a times long past. Very impressive with all its old books, tables and chairs. Definitely worth the visit
