If you go to Banff, definitely do this drive, the views are absolutely amazing and you are very likely to see deer.

A pleasant drive to end up at surprise corner looking over the bow falls! It's a must see! Also we were lucky enough to see a few deer and elk, so keep you eyes open.

if you can, you should take some time and take a walk there. you get a beautifull view ( all the snowy mountains and river) and lots of wildlife to see :)

Still closed for cars, late April. Nice view over Banff town. From this road you can also walk up to the hill for a better view over Banff.

We we're disappointed that the upper part of the road was closed due to snow, particularly at this late date, but the hoodoo stop is worth the drive and short hike with a great Bow Valley view.

We stopped at 3 of the viewing spots! My kids & husband had a great time hiking on the paths! Great spot for photos!
