3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2013 NEW

We went to see the special effects movie installation, however it was really not what we were expecting. It was ok, and the kids had a great time, but we've been to lots of other science centers that were more interactive - the smaller science center in Ithaca, NY for example - is much better designed in my opinion. But... More

As a member of the Edmonton Telus World of Science we took a trip down to Calgary to see Spark when it opened. What a fantastic venue. Lots of things to do with people of all ages. My youngest is 4 and he had a great time with all of the interactivity. My daughter is 6 and she enjoyed reading... More

We paid for 3 adult entriesplus the star show which came out to about $95.00. There were a lot of exhibits with plenty of hands-on, but the price was a bit much. And I still prefer the old star show with the Zeiss Projector, reclining in those chairs almost felt like watching the real stars. I was disappointed to have... More

Really enjoyed the Spark science centre. Lots of hands on things, and the children's interactive museum is FABULOUS! Climbing structure, toddler area, and tons of neat science based things to do. A really great place to spend some time with your kids. Note that this science centre has a reciprocal agreement with other science centres in the world, so if... More

Individual membership for a family of 4 ($75) seems steep but a Green Membership (~$200) for same family means that you start saving money on your third visit. The new science center is 4 times larger and much shinier than the previous location. spark is growing into its new digs. Great place for kids 3-15 and for adults who still... More

My 2 and 4 year old sons love the new science center. There is a really great space for young kids with lots of hands-on activities and a huge climbing structure. My oldest is constantly begging to go back!

Me and my boyfriend went this weekend and were very excited about it. We paid about $46 and we were told it takes about 1 hour without kids. We went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy busy but I definatly wouldn't recommend going on a weekend. There were soo many kids there we couldn't even try any... More

In Calgary with kids of any age? Telus Spark (science park) is a must see. Dozens of interactive science exhibits for youth from putting blocks together with magnets or Velcro to a water table to making video animations and your own sound recordings. The older kids--like me in my 70s--will love it too. If you ever visited the old Science... More
