Upon arrival to Louise Mckinney park, you will watch a safety video about the operation of the Segway. We will then conduct a training session to cover all the skills required to safely operate a Segway.Once this is completed, we will depart and take an hour and a half tour through the River Valley with short stops to talk about the River Valley and the Segways. There will be a couple points where we will show you the top speed of the Segway in a safe, controlled environment. « less

Fantastic experience + excellent instruction + interesting facts about Edmonton's river valley = River Valley Adventures (Segway Tours Edmonton)! I had the best Mother's Day EVER because of Chris' natural talent for clear instruction, his breadth of knowledge about Edmonton's natural history and his attentiveness to the riders to ensure our needs and interests were being met. I highly recommend... More

We did the one hour tour trough the snow and it was amazing. Even though nobody of us had ridden a segway before we had no problems as we had a great preparation by Chris. Would defenitely recommend that to everyone! Great Fun!

Just came back from a great afternoon with Chris defeating our way in the snow through the river valley park. A totally new experience and Chris was very friendly and patient. Would definitely do again!

I've done this twice, once with my team from the office as a team building event and once with my husband (a different kind of team building). It was fun, educational and well worth the time and cost. You get a great guide, an interesting tour of the river valley and the surrounding park areas, and a fun ride. I... More

My girlfriend saw the tour going through the park and decided she wanted a go. We booked for later in the week. I thought it would be a waist of time as she is not very sporty and felt she would spent too much time trying to stay on. I was much surprised by how easily and quickly she got... More

We brought my husband's cousin from Japan (who did not speak much English) to show her Edmonton's beautiful river valley. Despite the language barrier - Chris gave us a fantastic tour on the easy to master Segways (even both my teenage kids did great!) and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Edmonton or who... More

Four of us went out today with Jay as our instructor. She was patient and anticipated all the challenges we would have. We had an excellent time. The segway driving was much easier than we anticipated, and it was great fun. We all want to come back again, hopefully on our next visit to Edmonton.

My husband and I live in Edmonton and decided to try a new adventure for a Saturday morning - take a segway tour. We rode our bikes to Louise McKinley Park and then proceeded to the River Valley Adventure building to take the training - Chris made us repeat things until he felt we were very comfortable with the machines... What a great way to explore Edmonton. My guide was excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very thorough in providing instructions, and we had a wonderful morning riding the trails. We had a lot of fun on this unique adventure. I would highly recommend it!

Our family of eight (two parents in their fifties and assorted kids from 19 to 29) had a wonderful November afternoon touring the beautiful North Saskatchewan River trails on segways. The training was extensive and I recommend a 45 min tour if it is your first time, in order to get properly trained and still have enough time to do... More
