Pipers Lagoon is a beautiful waterfront walk. The water is cold even in the summer. It's a great spot for a romantic picnic

Nice level 15 minute walk from parking lot to end of path. Beautiful views of Vancouver mountains. When the tide goes out, there is a nice sandy swimming beach near the end of the path and a nice tidal lagoon on the other side of the path. If you are feeling adventureous, beyond the regular path are large boulders and... More
Gotta drive in unless u take the bus. Very poplar with dog walkers but not a very long walk unless you climb up some rockfaces and poke around. Benches around to take in the view- rock beaches, craggy trees, grasses and views of the water and busy seabirds. Situated in a residential neighbourhood with a great pub nearby.
Great little park with lots of waterfront. Beach is a bit rocky but certainly walkable. Nice even path for wheelchair/stroller - just not very long of a walk. When the tide is out you can bypass the climbing the rocks to get on the other trails. Lovely peaceful place.

The ocean side provides a pebbly beach which is popular for swimming on a nice summer day. Unless you are here at low tide, you need to... More
