As other reviews stated, they staff is more concerned about collecting your $5 dollar feel as opposed to providing an excellent customer experience. The staff member literally chased after us stating "make sure you charged them for their tasting fee", when we went to the till to pay for the two bottles of wine. Funny, because most wineries we visited... More

This winery has a great view of the lake and surrounding vineyards. There is a large tasting room and plenty of parking. Upstairs there is a small art gallery.

Although the wine was ok the staff and in particular were somewhat abrupt. We were chased away as well as another group because they do not like dogs and are very clear they are not welcome. This is only the second winery out of 112 that was this unwelcoming to dogs, not a great idea. Some of the group shelled... More

Had lunch combo on the outdoor patio at the end of Sept. 2012. The quality, variety and quanity of food exceeded our expectations. We loved the flatbread and savoured every morsel. Highly recommend the winery and excellent staff too!

This is one of my favorite wineries. The staff were very friendly and the wine was delicious! I particularly reccomend the Pinot gris. We will definitely be back!!

Very welcoming winery. Lovely buildings and grounds. Staff were knowledgable and fun. Tasted some great wines. They were offering a volume discount when we were there. The patio bistro food smelt terrific (smoky, BBQ - yum) but we had a reservation elsewhere. Will definitely return here to eat.

The drive up is delightful and the people are generous with their time and information (if not their wine when you're tasting). But, hey, it really is TASTING, right? Not DRINKING. So, the tastes were probably the right size. It was the story behind the wine and the little surprises of a full bodied wine out here in the middle... More

A beautiful setting and wine store/art gallery/tasting room. Unfortunately the staff during the tasting were not friendly, not informative and bordered on being rude. Definitely we're more concerned about collecting the $5 per person tasting fee than they were about our tasting experience or customer service. The wine is great but given the number of high quality wineries in the... More

Beautiful grounds and view from the winery. That was about the only positive thing I have to say. Visited 15 wineries this weekend, this was by far the worst for service and quality. Red Rooster was the one and only winery of the 15 we visited that collects a $5 tasting fee up front in cash before allowing tasting. They... More

Lovely winery! Five dollar tasting fee but it goes towards any purchase you make there. Very knowledgeable and provided good pairing suggestions.
