Its Wonderful for people of all ages. The museum is a great little place. It has a water park, a band shell, great little walks by the river with some history about pg, and volleyball pits. It has a mini train that also runs sometimes in the summer. The upkeep is wonderful on this place, its popular and very pretty.... More

This park is the heart of Prince George. A great many city events take place in this park....from movies in the park on a giant screen(which I hope to see more of because my grandchildren very much enjoyed this), to Canada Day celebrations, to Chinese New Year fireworks. Over the fall and winter of 2012 and spring summer of 2013 the washrooms are being renovated to become accessible for everyone. The grounds are very accessible and a historic native cemetery exists within the park by a band shell staging area and a children's playground. Dogs off leash are a bit problem having been bitten. People insist their dogs "would not bite anyone". A dog is an animal and can indeed bite.

Fort George Park is a huge park. Many places to play games with friends, have a picnic and just set up a blanket and stare up at all the huge beautiful old trees. There is a great play ground and water park for the kids as well.

This is a great park. Located right on the river. The water park is awesome for kids on hot sunny days, There are big beautiful trees and lots of green space to lay out a blanket or start a game of frisbee. There are also connecting paths to get a good walk in.

My kids are grown now, but we visited often when they were young. Whether we played in the park on warm days, or inside Exploration Place on the not-so-warm days, it was always a worthwhile time.

Great place to sit and relax or walk around. Childeren friendly with lots to do picnics,water park, play area, river trail train rides and museum. Nice views of the Fraser river and trains on the go. Summertime brings lots of things to do.
