not a hike...but a nice walk. Always beautiful there though! Great for people of varying physical shape.

Proximity to the ocean, waves crashing, big trees, all combine for a very wild experience - and views to die for!
The Wild Pacific Trail has spectacular views of the rugged coast around Ucluelet. The new Artist Loops provide amazing vistas and multitudes of park benches to sit and meditate. They even have platforms and small standing decks to take advantage of the views along the lengh of the trail. Take your camera and a lunch...you won't regret it!
Remember to take your camera as the entire trial is gorgeous from the rainforest to the wild Pacific coast. It gives real meaning to the "graveyard of the Pacific" to see the rugged coastline with huge swells and waves crashing on the rocks.
We have done both.

Although we're usually into more remote hikes, we really enjoyed this walk. After getting onto the trail we immediately spotted humpback whales - wow! From there, the vistas and flora are just lovely. What a wonderful walk!!
A beautiful trail. We even got to see a whale. We can't stop talking about it. The views are spectacular.
the scenery and being in amoungst unspoiled nature is wonderful
We walk the wild side trail on every visit to Tofino. The views are breath taking and we even 'bumped' into an otter one day. There are seats at most view points to take a rest or just soak up the view,
