It was a cloudy day but incredible views were still enjoyed! A nice highway, mostly 2 lanes and the speed was comfortable.

Very nice road, which is apparently due to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler. Tons of places to pull off and see the view. Go to the BC Mining Museum and the staff at the visitor's information center (re) in Squamish were nice.

along the way up to whistler you will have chance to see Shannon and brandywine falls(waterfalls) which are worth stopping for. breathtaking views of the mountains!

I recently (2nd of May 2013) took a one day coach trip from Vancouver to Whistler. The drive along the Sea to Sky highway was truly spectacular. If you like to drive this highway is SPECTACULAR! I went on a clear sunny on a day trip to Whislter. If you're not in a rush I would highly recommend you stop as often as possible to check out the scenery. Next time I go to Vancouver I'm going to rent a motorcycle just to ride this highway. Can't... We had heard this drive is one of the prettiest in the world - and it lived up to it. The views were amazing! One of our favorite stops was in Shannon Falls - just a short hike up to see this waterfall - don't miss it!
