Step 1: pick a clear day! Step 2: Assuming you are starting from Vancouver and especially if it's your first visit, cruise down Robson Street from Burrard to Denman (return later for a leisurely stroll to shop & dine), right on Denman & left onto W Georgia. Step 3: exit off W Georgia, following signs to Stanley Park; follow Stanley... More

We had a great time here. My brother told me to visit the area. So we took the lift and my son and husband loved it! We spent some time on top ate and walked around. Would definitely go there again. Love the view on top, very relaxing and to see the whole Vancouver from a very very high view!... More

Not a huge mountain, but beautiful views of English Bay harbor and downtown Vancouver. The tram is expensive....about $37 a person RT, but I enjoyed it for one time. We ate lunch on the patio at the top....food was delicious and not too expensive. Even though I was there in early May, there was still snow in areas. Loved the... More

In one day, you can get a quick taste of the mountain experience. Snow, bears, Lumberjacks, chair lifts. Not to mention those amazing locals that run up the mountain doing the Grouse Grind. All of this on a day trip from downtown vancouver.

Take a gondola ride to the top of Grouse Mountain for wonderful views over Vancouver all year round weather / low cloud permitting. We took the sea bus (public transport) from Canada place ,then a bus from the pier up to the top. It's so easy to get to Capillano suspension bridge ( just look out for the signs) &... More

Bring your check book or high limit credit card. Very expensive. The air tram is very expensive and they pack you in like sardines. There is long waits and tons of people but I guess that is what you should expect so close to Vancouver. The food is outrageously expensive, simply not a place worth its buck. If you need... More

Unfortunately when I visited it was out of season and most of the attractions were closed, i saw a sleeping wolf in the reservation and walked through some snow to see some very sleepy bears. The theater is worth checking out they show many different short videos on the history of grouse mountain and you exit into the gift shop.... More

BOTH! Grouse Mountain is a beautiful tourist destination in summer and winter, the night skiing is a fantastic experience especially considering how close and accessible it is to the city centre. In the summer the grouse grind is a must for anyone with an inclination to hike. Walk up in time for the sunset (it's worth it!) then you can... More
