“A treat and hidden gem, even for a local”

Our large group was treated to a first-rate impersonation of a character from the 1890s, led through many sites from the time that still stand today. Enhanced by perspective-positioned photographs, a well-chosen route, and fantastic, improvisational, engaging theatre. I will go out of my way to recommend Will to friends and family.

“Vancouver Penthouse”

Stripshows at the Penthouse were very classy, and the cover is included in the charge of admission. Mr. Fillipone himself led us through the tour which was a nice surprise.

“Excellent character portrayal”

This was our first Forbidden Vancouver tour but it won't be our last. As long term local residents it was great to get an in-depth perspective on our local history. We grew up with the stories of Gastown but Tiffany's portrayal of a "fallen woman" was superb.The back street tours are great. Don &Maureen

We have lived all of our lives in Vancouver and this is the first time we have heard the rich history of the Penthouse. Danny was an amazing guide and the photograph gallery was so interesting. The tour was great, dinner wonderful and we enjoyed the show. What a fantastic evening!

We have now taken all three Forbidden Vancouver tours: Prohibition City, Lost Souls of Gastown, & Secrets of the Penthouse. They are all, without question, excellent and exceptionally good value. Even as a Vancouver native, with a reasonably good appreciation of my city's history, I was amazed at the depth and detail that Will Woods brings to his tours ...rain... More

We were all natives of Vancouver, but still loved the tour. Saw details of the city we'd never noticed before. The actress was outstanding, and obviously trained on the stage or something along those lines. Loved it.

The Forbidden Vancouver tour was absolutely amazing, Will Woods blends an interactive narrative in with very interesting Vancouver facts (like why no one would move into the Sun Tower when it was built). His tours are great even on a rainy day. Would highly recommend.
