Took the Canada Line from YVR to the downtown station recently. Terrific! Convenient, clean, inexpensive (compared to cabs), put us 4 blocks from our hotel without getting stuck in traffic - always a probability in Vancouver! If you go the reverse to YVR, there are kiosks immediately as you get off that will print your boarding pass - slick!

2 blocks away from our hotel. Very nice to have for a visitor. We visited the Science Building and the train was very convenient way to take from the hotel where we stayed at. From Chinatown to Science building was only one ride. Great experience for my 7 year old son!

What a perk for the traveler without a car. The station nearest my hotel was only 4-5 blocks away. It cost less than $5 and took only 30-35 mintues to get to the airport.

After a long flight from Toronto, we were apprehensive about travel options on a weekend. The Canada Line was barely a 100 metres from baggage claim, ticketing was a breeze, and we two could travel to the Waterfront terminus with our luggage for about 15$ (about half the cost for an airport shuttle, and a quarter that of a taxi),... way to get from airport to the city, if you are going to use translink the same day you could buy a day pass at the 7/11 and save the $5 airport tax

The SkyTrain is super easy to figure out, seems to run reliably, and is very clean. I also like the fact that the zone tickets are good for up to a certain amount of time. My husband and I took the train, went to a location and didn't spend as much time as we thought. Instead of having to pay... More

We always use Skytrain whilst in the city. Easy way to get downtown from the airport. Always clean, but obviousely crowded at main rush hours. Get a translink day ticket at station machines or London Drugs ($9.75) for travel on Skytrain, Seabus or translink buses. Really good value.

this is one of the better ways to travel in Vancouver, it's really easy to use and cheap and covers a lot of the major Vancouver attractions. It is also clean and pleasant and has good views of Vancouver.

We used the sky train to travel from the airport to the waterfront and did the return journey 2 days later. It was fast, comfortable and cheap. Seniors pay only .75c each way. It runs about every 15 mins. It is a driverless train which is a bit daunting for some. But the advantage is you can sit up front... More

I flew into Vancouver International and was meeting a friend in Coquitlam so I took the Skytrain from the Airport to Waterfront and then changed trains on the other line to Lougheed Town Center. It was quick and easy to pay for my one way ticket. I also had lots of room for my luggage. On my way back to... More
