I liked the huge screen and great sound but the show was less than an hour and it is not cheap. The good part is there are no bad seats, theatre is roomy, the screen is immense and the sound system is great.

This is one of the classic IMAX Theaters, not the type are going in at a lot of normal movie Theaters. It's HUGE! Very similar to the one at the Seattle Science Center. When the weather is cool and clammy, this is the best way to spend the afternoon. Movie after movie with small breaks between. The staff are so informed and helpful. I love it.

The IMax always has short films on - several in a day, as well as a "blockbuster" at night - such as Harry Potter, the Hobbit, etc. Great to see it on the giant screen and in surround sound. Check it out next time your are in Victoria - and get the combo ticket and see the Royal BC Museum... More
