My husband and kids took me whale watching for my birthday and it was a day I'll always remember. Within 10 minutes of leaving the harbor we were travelling alongside 2 orcas as they alternately rose out of the water. After about 45 minutes we were alerted to a pod of whales taking down a sea lion. We scurried over... More

My spouse and I have had mutual and separate experiences whale watching and thought while we were in Victoria, we would do it again. I have seen Grey whales before, but never Orcas. We were told the only ones to be seen this time of year were residents, but they "guarantee" sightings, so we decided to go for it. We went... More

Fantastic first time whale watching with Prince of Whales! Rhonda, Mika & Captain Jeff provided a memorable experience for our Mother's Day excursion. We were blessed with calm waters and a magical time watching a pod of 4 Orca's about an hour off the waters of the Victoria Inner Harbour. We will be back to Prince of Whales again soon!

This is the second time I have gone out with Prince of Whales and it was wonderful again...although an entirely different experience this time. OVERVIEW: This tour company provides a quality product with truly passionate and professional guides and it is easily accessible. The office, parking and point of departure is located at the inner harbour, on the lower level,... More

Early May, leaving James Bay on the Ocean Magic. Cold wind, calm seas and the sun struggling to come out. The chances of seeing Orca's this time of year is slim as the resident pods are not yet migrated back and the transient's are an elusive breed of loners. Out past the bay, then onto the ocean and suddenly there... More

One of the most recommended experiences when visiting Vancouver. We took the day trip whale watching and flightseeing tour. simply awesome! From Vancouver to Victoria with a fast ship (arround 3 hours) with stops in the middle to watch whales, seals, bald eagles and even several killers whales. After some hours for visiting Victory for your own, back to Vancouver... More

We saw 2 transient orcas, dozens of seals, and dozens of sea lions (2 species) on this trip. I loved this whale watching company because they gave us suits that kept us warm (and apparently also would have self inflated if I'd fallen overboard), gloves, and hats. I rode on their smaller, inflatable type boats. I expected it to be... More

What a great day with a great team. Was a bit of a grey day flat water and cold.....the team spent about 45 minutes tracking down a couple of male killer whales and then we spent 30 mins tracking them. The staff were great, they knew which whale was which and had some great general information on the whales. The... More

To all of you that doubt this company, I say: Try it again. Today was one of the most amazing days on the water, fun filled, orca filled and knowledge filled. Thanks to our guides! We saw two different pods of transient orcas. One of which was a total of at least 7 all attacking a sea lion. The driver... More

Dear hebs1123, Wow!! Thank you very very much for such an awesome review. I am literally glowing pink right now with pride. Your first sentence of the review says it all: give us a second chance if you don't see whales! When we do get lucky and get to see Killer Whales (or Humpbacks) on our tours, you can bet... More
