It was closed when I was there. There is nothing much to see. But the tower is located in one of the best urban parks, Point Pleasant Park.

For historians, I'm sure this place is interesting, but for regular folks it's just another old stone tower. You can't get inside, so you can only admire it from the outside. The view of the mouth of the harbour is quite nice, but otherwise don't bother going out of your way for this attraction.
This was a neat site - no elaborate displays like some of the other Martello towers, but you don't have to pay to get in either. It was nice and cool inside - a break from the sun on a hot day in the park.
This will take a bit of a walk depending on your entrance into Point Pleasant park. BUT depending on your interests if you're a bit of a history buff like me its a must, I'd recommend it especially if you've made it out to the Park already!
