Visited May 2013 We arrived at the park around 5:30pm ( Very early!) to find the registration office closed. I know to just to your reserved site and do the paperwork in the morning. This also left us without any firewood and it was a very cold night. We managed to find a man selling firewood and ice on the... More

I have been to killbear many times within the past 5 years or so with my two children. I must admit that I have to laugh at all these people complaining about bears - yes there are bears - have you not realized that you are camping in the north??!! We are entering their territory - the park staff patrols... More

Killbear Park is an absolutely wonderful place to go camping in Ontario. Beautiful beaches, rocky landscapes, cliff jumping, cool water, lots of wildlife. The campsite is clean and a good mix of fun and quiet. You'll never find a prettier sunset in Ontario. If you can get away from the mainland, there's tons of stuff to check out if you... More

My family and I always camped at Killbear Provincial Park growing up. I've now been married for over 3 years and my husband and I are carrying on the tradition! The staff do a great job of keeping the campsites clean, the bathrooms are generally clean and well-maintained, and you can't beat the beauty of Georgian Bay! Clean, cool water... More

We are included in the group that has gone far and wide in our travels but always seem to come back to Killbear. First family camping trip to Killbear was in 1966 … with sites costing 2 dollars per night including free firewood. We were mostly in tents … no showers available and only pit toilets … normal for that... More

We have been travelling to Killbear since our daughter was a newborn. She will turn 12 this fall. We are trailer campers and especially love Kilcoursie and the BEaver DAm sections of the camp ground. We love the biking/walking trails but, our favorite things to do is watch the sunset from the Beaver Dam Rocks at night. There really are... More

This park has been the family favourite for years. I have been going here for the 22 years of my life, and I have to say, this is one special place. Book far far in advance to make sure your spot is decent as many people are return customers, and go for their favourites first. Every return camper at Killbear... More

Ive been going to Killbear Park every summer since I was 3 years old, for 19 years now. My parents introduced me to this park growing up and we have always had great memories camping here. Ive gone with family and also brought friends up as well, who of course fell in love with the park! The spots are really... More
