Hamilton has so many waterfalls it has been named the 'Waterfalls Capital'. Some are very large and very busy, others are smaller and make for great hiking to get to. Google Hamilton Waterfalls and you will get access to a map for whatever suits you. Spring time is amazing because of the speed and amount of water going over the...

I have lived in Hamilton my entire life and forget how beautiful the waterfalls here are. My boyfriend is from Toronto and I have been trying to take him to see as many waterfalls as I can. I have been to most of them dozens of times, but when you take a new person to them, you see them in...

The waterfalls around Hamilton are great to tour. I have been to many of them and it is always a nice day out touring the outdoors. I live here and am amazed at the people living here that do not get out to see these natural beauties right in our back yard.
Seen many of the sites beautiful walks to see the falls the one off wilson is a short walk in limited parking really nice.
I live in St. Catharines but I travel to Hamilton to do some hiking to see the most beautiful waterfalls. I have been to Albion Falls and Tiffany Falls and they are the most amazing thing I've seen. Hamilton's escarpment offers a wide variety of locations where the run-off from Lake Erie makes its way to the lower Lake Ontario. Niagara Falls is the big rill but the many creeks in the Hamilton area are undiscovered treasures, so get out there and discover them!!
My husband born and raised in Hamilton is proud of the City of Waterfalls. We have a list of the falls and try to search out many throughout the year. Some are not so accessible or not visible unless a big melt or rain. So interesting and lovely to see.
