We treated ourselves to this show for our anniversay and we were not dissapointed. The show was very well done, and the acting good. Anywhere you sit is good as the theatre is not huge.We could see the actors and costumes very well. The seats are very comfortable. We got a travelzoo deal and found the performance well worth what we paid.The... Have been coming to the Shaw for over 15 years at least once a year - never seen a bad play! Saw 'Our Betters' and 'Lady Windermere's Fan this time - both excellent. The company always has something to suit every taste. Highly recommend a visit.

Loved this play! My first time at the Shaw Festival did not disappoint. Having been to the Stratford Festival many times I must say that the Shaw Festival is on par. Will not hesitate to return.

Brilliant performance. We are so very glad that the Shaw Festival has infused other play writers into the mix with the pieces by George Benard Shaw. Guys and Dolls was well performed and the music was fantastic. It was so good that I had to stop myself from singing along. If you are in town and have the time, go... More

What a great show! The stage/set was very impressive. The curtain effect like opening up a photo graph was charming. The Oscar quotes between sets were good. Actor volume was a bit low. Pop / contemporary music was fun.

The Shaw festival has four theatres in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We saw Guys and Dolls at the biggest theatre - the Shaw Festival. Unlike the theatres in Stratford you have a big comfy seat, where you knees aren't poking the person in the head in front of you. We sat in the "cheap seats" and were at the back of the balcony... We enjoyed every moment. The cast is fabulous, the sets and music everything they should be. Get tickets, you'll be glad you did.

Just saw "Our Betters" which was excellent, and "Lady Windemere's Fan". Sadly, we cannot give a rave review to this production. The cast, especially the women, did not project their voices and we were often left trying to figure out what had been said based on what we could hear. Heard others saying the same thing as they were leaving... More

Glad you liked Our Betters and we are sorry to hear that you had trouble hearing Lady Windermere’s Fan. The preview performances are works in progress (hence the reason for a lower ticket price) leading up to Opening Night when the production should be at its best and then remain at that level for the rest of the season. Thank... More

Never disappointed at the Shaw Festival. Both of these productions were first rate and thoroughly enjoyable. Will be back for several more throughout the season. Theatre at its finest.
