I love going to concerts in this place. It has a feeling of elegance and the acoustics and sight lines are good.
I went to see the band Heart and was very impressed it is so beautiful there .The seats are so comfortable with lots of leg room. This place is a hundred timmes better than Scotia Bank Place where you are squished together like sardines.
Very nice place; well designed and has a warm feeling to it. It really emphasizes the important of art, which is also nice to see. I would just say to be careful if you have mobility problems because it isn't the best venue for people with these problems; not so easy to get around...
Attending "A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday - The Newport Jazz Festival Concerts" @ 4th stage last weekend. Wonderful cabaret experience, incredible vocalists and musicians, a night to remember. Once more, the NAC doesn't disappoint. Sincerely hope the see these performers at the Jazz festival this summer!
offers such a great variety of plays, music and dances! if you have the time go catch a play! i saw a shakespearing play with aboriginal influences and it was pretty good! pick the right play and it will be amazing

This has to be one of the premier venues for a performance or social event. I have been here a few times and each time, I am in awe at how great this venue is. HELPFUL TIP: Parking can be a nightmare, consider doing Park 'n' Ride and taking the bus.
Ottawa's National Art Centre is really a place for the performing arts located on Elgin Street, one of Ottawa's centre town main arteries and right next to the beautiful Rideau Canal. This ultra modern building was designated a National Historic Site in 2006.
The Arts Centre project was launched under the Lester B. Pearson government in the 1960s. In fact...
