This is a comfortable theatre with good sight lines. We saw Blythe Spirit there this year - a good production of an entertaining show.

My experience was unique but my neighbour's hand ended up in my lap during the second half of the show, much to my consternation and distraction. Perhaps if the seats weren't so close together, this may have been avoided. Nonetheless, the show "Tommy" was fantastic!

As theatre people this venue holds approx. 1200 people. It is well laid out and you can certainly hear well in all parts of the theatre. We love the production of Tommy. This years big musical. You would maybe like to be 10 - 12 rows back for the best viewing and to not be too close to the speakers.... More

Just saw the rebirth of Tommy, the musical at the Avon Theatre. A wonderful mix of live music, live performance and even live video shot and projected simultaneously on stage. Like most of McAnuff's productions the pace never slows until you return home and your head hits the pillow.

went to the second night of Tommy at the Avon Theater in Stratford....sat 3/4 of the way back in the orchestra....still great seats....production was amazing, both music and acting....thoroughly enjoyed it. A must see this summer, just be prepared, this is a "ROCK" opera so the music is loud, but it is so great you don't even notice

the play and the set was beautiful and the show was funny. I always drawing room comedy the sets were comfortable although they were to close together and my knees kept hitting the poor guy in front of me.

This is a small venue in the heart of Stratford. The building has been refurbished with a large airy lobby. The theater store was attached to the lobby a few years ago which gives it a even larger appearance. Seats a smallish but comfortable - pick on to the center of the stage and you can't go wrong.

Excellent music, singing, acting, production. Took me back in time. Multi-Media aspect of production was awesome.
