I've watched the Festival and the city grow since 1978, Together, they have built a five star experience in rural Ontario (1hr to Toronto). The Festival theater experience is stellar compared to other venues. First, of course, there are the plays. It always is an eclectic mix, geared to their stage spaces, and ensemble cast. We are members and visit the Stratford Festival every year. Last year we saw JC Superstar and Camelot. The productions are professional and flawless. More

We enjoy everything about it. The quality of the plays. The atmosphere and the seating is great because no matter where we sit we can always see the stage and I personaly feel that I am involved in the play, I am a part of the whole show. More

The Stratford Shakespeare Festival is something we look forward to each season from spring until Fall. The performances include not only Shakespeare but musicals and plays that appeal to all ages, with outstanding and well known artists There s the amazing large Festival Theatre plus three others. I love the plays here, don't get me wrong. But ever since Justin Bieber became famous Stratford has monopolized on that. It's not the same as it once was. The ticket prices are RIDICULOUS. I'd take a pass on this one. More

I've seen about 8 or ten shows here, including Hamlet, Dracula, and a few others. All the venues are terrific and you would be hard pressed to find this kind of quality stage play anywhere in the world. In March, they have the behind the scenes tour and you can check out the actors training for fight scenes, stage hands... More
