West end of the city once you get to High Park is a great escape from the urban core. Here you will find an enormous park with many acres in which to get lost for a few hours. Nice shopping and cafes, restos before or afterwards on Bloor around Jane. Great place to tire out the kids on swing sets... More

Great park to visit for half day. hard to get a parking spot. If you decide to go around Grenadier pond - don't .. there is no path on the west side of it. you will end up walking along a residential street without a view of the pond.

What a lovely place! If we hadn't been told we'd never have known about it, and it is just beautiful! Boundless bird life, including scores of Canada Geese and one very spectacular white swan: gorgeous little squirrels being so beautifully cute. A lovely green warm and inviting park - whT don't more people know about it?

High Park is nothing special, however, the area to the east is fantastic. Toronto lacks green space, so for the city, I suppose this is as good as it gets.

Nice big park to walk with a stroller. Lots of places to have a picnic and they even have some animals for the kids to see.

I had recently just went to High Park for the first time despite being a resident for a few months now. I thought okay it's probably just a park at first. But it turned out to be more than just a park. This is a community gathering place in the city. There was multiple sports games, dog walkers, sunbathers, and... More

This is a great corner of Toronto, next to the hip Roncesvalles neighbourhood. A huge green park, with many trees, very easy to get to by public transport, and fantastic to go walking in, picnic, play games etc etc. It is cooler and fresher as the breeze comes up from the lakeshore at the southern end. Great place for a... More
