I've seen many acts here, from the Canadian Brass, to Peter Paul and Mary, to the Smothers Brothers, to Tony Bennett (yikes! I've just given away my demographic!). Never had a bad seat, acoustics are incomparable, and the entire facility is just top rate.

Exceptional entertainment, Roy Thomson Hall has outstanding acoustics. Not a bad seat in the house. Has a very intimate feel.

Took in a Christmas show. The Hall is grand, sound is great and lots of parking around the area. Lots of super shows and concerts are held here

I have been for a couple of different live performances, one was Lang Lang. Not a bad seat in the house. The sound is amazing. There is no bad echo. Located downtown Toronto on King St.

I have to agree with davidgoldberg1’s review below. He’s said just about all that I would —and very eloquently. Now, a couple of words of advice to out-of-towners and newbies. The hall is about a two-minute walk from the St. Andrew subway station; quite a populous and safe neighbourhood. There's even an underground walkway from the station to the hall... More

When this striking piece of architecture was first opened to the public, it received rave reports -----until the music started. It was such an improvement upon the Massey Hall, Toronto's previous musical slum, and so pleasing to the eye, that everyone forgot it was to serve as the new home for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Mendelssohn Choir. Its... More

I just saw Deepak Chopra speak here the other night- I think I have been here once before for a TIFF event as well. I am not sure how I feel about this venue. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong and the location is fantastic and the staff are great, but I had a hard time the other night hearing... More

Attended a lunchtime concert last Monday and had a brilliant time. The Mendelson Choir was amazing and the seats and acoustics in the hall were just perfect. You can see lots of concrete looking up but once the lights are dimmed you can just relax and enjoy the wonderful music and the organ.
