this is not a big park but it is nice and cozy in a nice area just across the "Institut de l'hôtellerie" there are a few beautiful terrasse where you can eat or just take a drink
They are doing some work at the Square. The entire Square is fenced, you can"t walk through, and it looks they are doing some major work. They have protected the trees from the machinery being used. I hope we will soon be able to enjoy our lovely Square again.
The beauty of this tranquil park has been taken over by the street "kids" and their dogs. On any given day they take over one part or another of this beautiful green space. If you are in the mile end ( i.e St. Denis street) and pick up a sandwich that do have a seat in the park. But, don't go out of your way. Much more interesting places to visit in Montreal. There are a couple of lovely old tonwhouses surrounding the park. But, beware there are derelicts.
It is alwaysnice to take a break in St-Louis square and relax a bit., you can always grab a ice cream in the little shop and the fontain is just super romantic Sometimes the crowd can be a bit ecclectic and bit weird by night
Nice and safe to walk around. Near a vast choice of restaurants.
it is fine to walk around and look at the 19th century houses, but it is a little derelict. If you are very familiar with the Qc histoty, it is more interesting
