You have to try the smoked meat sandwiches at the famous Swartz's Deli. It's owner by Celine Dion's husband now and for good reason, these are the best smoked meat sandwiches in the world!

Nice, a lot of shops, not too much traffic thanks to the one-way, good food, nice heritage info from 'Le Petit Laurier' and plenty of nice houses.

Laurier Ave is full of great places to eat and drink. It's a quiet street, thanks to being one-way, with an adorable bike path. I'm sure not everywhere on here is amazing but it's a great place to walk down and discover something new.

Shopping is great: various boutiques of different style. Also, one finds gourmet shops where foie gras, special twas and great coffees are easy to buy. Products from around the world are available. Stopping for a bite is a çust. Enjoy! Montreal is a safe city.

Great shopping and good restaurant street for high end in the middle of Outremont the chic French suburb of Montreal. Take the time to try one of the great French restaurant on Laurier Street if you can.
