I have seen three plays at Rosebud Theatre, and all three were just great. I was able to suspend disbelief and imagine that I was in New York in the recent show "Barefoot in the Park." "Anne of Green Gables" was fun for the family. And a few years back, "Man of La Mancha" rivaled the first production of this... More

The experience was a school outing. My daughter's class made the trek to tiny Rosebud and had a phenomenal experience. The play "Clara & Jacques" was entertaining and informative and the workshop after a lot of fun. The meal was truly "kid friendly" and all had a fabulous time at the Rosebud Theatre. It's nice that this program fits into... More

There is no other little hamlet like Rosebud. Imagine a small community of under a hundred full time residents playing host to tens of thousands of guests each year! They do It with country charm and theatrical expertise. If you are stressed by urban living, make this your escape. The current Opera House play, "My and Joe" is worth the... More

Rosebud is a unique little town that has dicovered the power of good dinner theatre to bring in the tourists. It is a school training up and coming theatre talent which has 2 stages, the main one in the "Opera House" and the second one a bit of a drive up the valley. We have seen many shows there and... My husband and I were fortunate enough to see May and Joe, as the Christmas party for my work (many thanks!!). Starting with the buffet....it was amazing! Looking for good home cooked food? This is IT. After supper, we did a bit of Christmas shopping (great items with very reasonable prices ). The play itself was so well done! Doesn't... More

Premiere artists and theatre in a tiny wee hamlet - how delightful! Enjoyed everything - the setting, historical buildings in a picturesque river valley; the hot and cold buffet lunch with a singing duet entertaining during the lunch, the inspirational production “Tuesdays with Morrie" beautifully portrayed the gift shops, the artists serving and entertaining at all the venues and a... We attended the dinner theatre in Rosebud. The performance was excellent and the food was awesome. I would highly recommend this dinner theatre, as this is not the first time we have attended and it has always been great.

First time to the theatre. Attended matinee. Small stage but well designed set. Actors were so great, particularly Anne, Mrs. Lynch, Marilla and Matthew. Our seats were great. Heard this was their best play in a few years so very glad that we were there for it. Lots of kids but the play kept their attention. The lunch prior to... More

We stopped here before spending a few days in the Drumheller valley. We were very impressed and had a great time!

While looking at attractions in the Drumheller area, we decided to book tickets online for the Rosebud Theatre's production of Anne of Green Gables; travelling on the Canada Day long weekend seemed like an appropriate time to see this piece of Canadiana. We were not disappointed. There are some little shops and galleries to explore if you arrive early or... More
