Nothing to dislike....great ride to the top, incredible views, year round access. Take a sack lunch or purchase lunch at the top!
I have taken the Skyride previously when it was snowy but this time there was no snow and it was a pleasant, clear day. The Skyride is always packed so you have to dash in if you want to get a seat or a decent view from the car. The views back over Vancouver and the water are absolutely incredible... More
I'm sure it would be worth the hefty price of admission on a clear day, but on the foggy day we were there, it was just about a complete waste. We could not see any of the much bragged about views and the only thing worth seeing was the bears. They have plenty to do on nice days from zip... More
The skylift quietly lifts up to 100 people by cable up the side of the mountain while viewing the ships and the city below! It is a great perspective of Vancover, and takes you to a lovely area to explore at your leisure
To access Grouse Mountain this is the way to get up there. It is only part of the ticket cost as there is also a ski-lift and wind turbine in addition. Good views over the mountain and city as it climbs.
A full afternoon with a gondola ride to the top of Grouse Mountain. At the top we saw a great lumberjack show, 2 grizzly bears and a raptor show. Barely had time to see the shows and walk around. Grouse Mountain was a great surprise!
We took the Skyride, and then went onto the ski left up to the top, and then went on to the Eye of the Wind (modern windmill -- 215 ft up) for a 360 degree view from the top of the mountain! At the top of the skyride, we stopped to watch the Birds of Prey exhibition -- nice. And... More
we decided to take the skyride, there were hordes of people walking up the mountain, apparently there are steep steps and people time themselves..and then take the car down. the view was majestic, we rode into the cloud that hung above the mountain. the zip line was closed due to the clouds. the bears were fun to watch and the... This is a wonderful ride! Decent price for everything that they offer! The lumber jack show was awesome and so was the birds show. Make sure you check out the grizzly bears too! You could easily spend a good part of the day here!
I am not sure why the other reviews are discussing the things to do at the top of Grouse Mountain. This is a review of the actual skyride. We did not ride the Skyride up--we climbed the Grouse Grind and only bought a ticket for the way down. It was a summer weekday, but the Skyride car was packed. I... More
