Great spot for a nice walk. The place is perhaps the most beautiful part of Hinton. Had never seen a beaver so up-close until then.

The Beaver Boardwalk is a must see for anyone visiting the area. Plan your visit for early morning or dusk to be sure to see beavers - June through September. If you are lucky, your dusk visit will coincide with the Wednesday evening live music from the local fiddle group, Bow Geste, who play for an hour on warm Wednesdays... More

Such a fantastic idea to build a walking path in and around a beaver habitat. Easy to walk and nice scenery. A treat for all ages to go and visit.

Although it was a cool morning, we took an easy stroll around the lake before hitting the road to Jasper and beyond. An excellent effort by volunteers over the years.

This was so interesting - a very nice walk (beautiful country), saw half-chewed tree, enjoyed it immensely - very easy to manoever the trail. Great place to have a picnic.

While spending an afternoon in Hinton, I asked the hotel front desk for Hinton attractions worth visiting. She recommended the Beaver Boardwalk. It was definitely a site worth seeing. enjoyable time spent walking around the wetlands - impressive beaver lodge! did not see any wildlife but even without that it was a lovely walk

Beautiful scenery. Lots of picture taking opportunitys. Amazing to see up close how hard the Bever works & chewing down trees to build the dams.
