Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is a great place for young children....lots of grassy areas to play on, a sandy beach that stays shallow for a long distance out, and paths in the woods to explore.

This park and beach is perfect for families with small children. The water is shallow and the tidepools are full of the oceans treasures. When the tide comes in over the warm sand the water can be quite warm as well.

We've only visited the beach here but it is fantastic! Lots of sand, great for collecting clam shells and sand dollars. Fantastic beach, I don't like making reservations for a public campground. The beach is a distance from the campsites and there expensive. However, I guess in the big picture it's all relevant to what most families expect for provincial campsites.

We visited for a family reunion. Lots of room with a big beach. Well looked after, clean. Plenty of campsites.

Lots of nice rocks on this beach.Sand goes for what seems like miles and there is a playground for small and big kids.
