I am happy we went - my husband held a snake for the 1st time. But this place needs an upgrade badly. Old building with nothing changed since the 70's it looks like.

I liked the reptiles they showcased but the place they have it in is starting to look old and is a bit rundown. Their giftshop had some good finds and I enjoyed seeing the bigger reptiles but besides that its a bit of a let down

So many reptiles to see, great description of them all! It was a very interesting way to learn about reptiles.

If you love animals, you'll love this. It's great for children and learning! They were very friendly. We loved the snake and got some amazing photos!

we have been here a couple of times. The kids enjoy it, especially holding Brittney the snake (you can ask them to bring her out anytime). The cages are quite small so you'd have to be able to be ok with that.

If you find yourself in Drumheller and the weather isn't great or you have a snake/reptile lover in your family, this is a decent, hour long time killing stop. Nothing fancy in the displays, very plain, but it does suffice for a basic introduction into reptiles and snakes.

It's a little pricey for what you get, but I understand why when you see the sheer volume of mouths they need to feed. There's lots of spiders and snakes and lizards. They had a new cobra that was cool though - he mirrored all my movements for about 15 minutes but when I turned to leave he struck out.... More

We drove from Edmonton on Tuesday to come here. The website said they were open, but when we got there, we found out via the sign on the door that they are closed Tuesdays. I am not impressed.

Don't judge this place by it's somewhat rundown looking exterior. Inside is an amazingly huge well-kept collection of reptiles from crocodiles and turtles to snakes and lizards from exotic places. Hands on boa constrictor experience.

This is a neat place to go if you want to see a lot of snakes and reptiles, however I found it really sad. The rooms for the snakes are very small and the majority of the time just cement in them. The alligator encloser is terrible, he looks so miserable in his cement pool (literally just a cement room... More
