Because of the long drive from Canmore (near Banff where we were staying), we decided to get to Drumheller around noon, spend the afternoon and the next morning at the museum. We had expected great things of this museum but were disappointed. The initial galleries were uninspiring. General palaeontological coverage was limited and much of the information was superficial and did liitle to enlighten anyone with even a small amount of geological knowledge.
