These were lovingly tended abloom with lots of tulips etc. and the victorian fountain a beautiful centre piece

We took a ride on the big wheel fantastic views accross Torquay. Wonderful on a clear day and I am sure just as good when it is dark. We arrived in sunshine and the gardens were a picture. They were obviously so well tended and had been benefiting from the rain, which fortunately stayed away for our visit!

Always cleaned every day and litter picked. Foreign language students did leave a terrible mess of litter every night, but full marks to the maintenance team as every morning they were cleaned by 9am. Always picturesque with the flower beds

We had an enjoyable walk thro the gardens and admired t he well kept grass and flower borders, only down side was there were not a lot of people there

Extremely pretty especially at night with the different coloured lights. The effect on the plants was wonderful. We enjoyed walking around them and never tired of the walks.

We were most dissapointed to find the gardens looking neglected, no wonderful flower beds.

Torquay is a great resort and has some lovely well cared for gardens to enjoy.The resort is great for couples and families alike.The harbour area is nice,its very enjoyable to watch the boats come and go,A warning is if you eat fish and chips around this area they may get stolen from you by the seagulls.
