This was a nice way to spend a couple of hours and at £10.00 it was too expensive either. Good place to take children. I especially loved the two turtles which were huge and the feeding of the otters which was particularly entertaining.

The Oceanarium needs a bit of a make over. It was looking a little tired. At a cost of nearly £10.00 for an adult, I had expected a little more for my money. I came away feeling a little sorry animals and fish, any plans for an enlargement to any of the enclosures?
we visited here with our family, two adults and 5 year-old son. Boy really loved it, going through the tour 3 times (!). Otters, sharks, fishes, turtles (one giant!) and loads of info about sea life. After this, the octonauts became superheroes!
good quality entertainment, accessible, good souvenir shop and close to the pier and other services.
Well, we saw this and then found a leafet for it in our hotel, I had a look on here and saw how good the reviews were, and because I'm a big child decided to drag my boyfriend and best friend.
Well, once again, trip advisor was right, SO MUCH FUN. I love aquariums anyway, but this was a lot...

Suitable for all ages. Very interesting good views of everything in there. Got a bit hot in there though
Tickets booked online with 25% discount. When the heavens opened and the rain never looked like stopping, this was the perfect way to entertain the family. Really excellent all round and my son will not shut up about it!
Saved a rainy day on the coast with the children. Interesting displays that kept the children curious with some facts for adults to read. A bit odd that human deaths by shark attacks ranged from 5 to 10 depending on display. Can get busy and crowded in places so keep hold of your children. Otters and the underwater glass tunnel...

We visited the aquarium because it was raining in Bournemouth so we wanted to do something inside. Good value for money, and lots to see, including otters! We got their for when it opened so there weren't lots of crowds. Great place to take kids too.
We all really liked the rescue centre aspect of the aquarium and there were lots of turtles to please my daughter, who loved them. It is compact, but the family entry cost was good value and the regular feeding deomonstrations were very good. We all liked the walk through tunnel so we could see sharks, eels and turtles swimming over...
