Just really nice to be able to stroll along the beach & have points of interest along the route, cafes & shops etc browse through! Always nice & clean.
My friends and I went there in late Sept. It is a little bit cold but is very sunshine and beautiful. That was the first time I had seen a beach with full of rocks on beach. Great!
A must go to area when you're in Brighton. You can't come to Brighton and not go the beach. I love walking along the pier in late September/early October. Don't go as much during the summer months cause it's always packed with tourists.
I used to live in Brighton in my teens and twentys and always enjoyed the atmosphere. The beach and the Pier, the little kiosks and cafes, and pubs are in abundance near the beach. I am now retired and live outside the town but still love to visit the beach and sit under the prom enjoying a coffee usually at... More
I went on a day that was a bit windy, so i didn't get to enjoy walking along the pier as much as i wanted to. other than that it's definitely a place that you must go to at least once. Even though it was a bit windy, there were a lot of people, especially students at the beach.
in summer i am sure it is lovely, and it had a certain charm all of its own in November, but I think the relevant word is bracing.
Great to see it scrapped cleaned and patrolled frequently, its right next to the sea the best place for a beach! seriously it's inviting safe and a great place to sit and enjoy the sun rise and sunset with a bottle of wine
Coming from Australia it really was an surreal experience walking along a beach made solely of pebbles, but at least they wont get in your swimming clothes. Many quaint shops of food souvenirs ect along the beach. great spot to go and chill.
Brighton and Hove beaches are allways packed with people on a sunny day. In the winter walking along the prom taking in the sea air and having a full English breakfast at the Meeting Place cafe is a must.
Love them or hate them the pebbles on Brighton Beach make it pretty unique. There is so much variety on the beach from the quiet of Kemp Town to the bustle of the area West of the Pier
