I always spend money when we go the Brighton, the Laines are full of quirky shops, and clothes shops that aren't run of the mill such as Next, New look etc. You come away knowing that no-one else back home will have what you're wearing. Plenty of vinyl shops to keep my other have entertained, and lots of lovely places... More

We spent a day touring around the small shops in the Lanes and had a lovely time - well worth a visit

Everyone says you must see the Lanes and we did. One after another of jewelry and upmarket trinket shops - nothing really to write home about, Ok there was one art gallery that we liked where the featured artist painted human figures with dirty hands.

Love just strolling around all the quirky shops, some can be quite pricey though. A lot of antique shops, and some good coffee shops. Great place to just wander and people watch. Great place to spend a few hours.

Spent a Saturday afternoon strolling through the lanes, and I'm hooked. Wonderful quirky shops, great atmosphere and friendly people! Nothing is over priced, and there's something for everyone! The Lanes are a must when visiting Brighton.

Lovely to wander along the lanes but how they have changed! Where there used top be lovely old antique and bric-a-brac shops now they are mostly trendy and expensive international brands. What a shame!

A surprise around every corner, there are many choices of pubs and restaurants. I had lunch at the bath arms, oysters from jersey and a terrific leg ham & tomato sandwich, served by a beautiful redheaded lady.

Really lovely atmosphere and great gift shops to browse through and explore. There are also all the usual high street coffee shops tucked away.

Nice selection of different shops selling every thing even things you did not think you wanted, as well as cafes and restaurants. Nice atmosphere.
