As the title of my review suggests, I wish we had been there. At the end of July we booked up for an audio tour of Canterbury with this company who were going to leave the mp3 players for collection at our hotel on the morning of our arrival. I cannot praise this companys attitude highly enough, all the people... More

Having moved into the local area a few months back i decided to be a tourist before it became too embarrassing and stumbled upon the audio tour guys next to the coach station. It could be done in 7 or 8 different languages and i plumped for French as not only did i receive a B at school but i... More

My son and I visited Canterbury today, and I thought that the Audio Tours would be the best way to get a good overview of the city. For the most part, our experience was great! The audio was interesting, informative, and well-produced. The tour map was good, and following the map we were able to see most of the city.... More

What a fabulous concept. We were able to tour the whole city at our leisure. We had all the information we needed on these little hand held video players, a great idea. People were stopping us all the way asking where we had got them from. No qualms in recommending this to anyone whose a visitor to the city. Thank... More

Took the Dutch version with us for our Dutch friends, wonderful way to see the city. Have a break when you want to, and the tour is very informative and interesting and gives you a 'feel' for the city you wouldn't get without the historical information... just the right length too, there are two tours you can choose from, we... We came across Canterbury Audio Tours while walking along the River Walk. They allowed us to rent their players overnight so we could start our tour first thing the next morning. The map was easy to follow and we spent the good part of the morning leisurely following the tour. When we finished we felt we had seen Canterbury. I... More

I spent a few hours in Canterbury on a coach tour this week and wondered how best to use the time. My friend and I decided to take this audio tour and we're so glad we did! The map was extremely well designed, the commentary interesting and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. The tour took us to... More

My husband and I had a fantastic day in Canterbury thanks to Canterbury Audio Tours! We had no idea how hisorically interesting Canterbury is. We loved being able to stop and have coffee, or linger at a certain point. The freedom and no pressure aspect of this tour was perfect. The staff were helpful, knowledgable and very friendly. As residents of the city we decided on a winter activity just before Christmas when the city is quieter. Having lived in the area for a few years it was lovely to learn about and see places that we would never have known about otherwise. It was a thoroughly interesting day for both of us. Definately one to return to... More

We spent a busy December Saturday using the easy to operate mp3 to explore Canterbury. The staff were super helpful and the tour took us around the city to places that we would never have found by ourselves. We took about 4 hours to do the full tour with stop offs for coffee, lunch and shopping. Highly recommended.
