Went for alternative day out with a couple of friends, rather than going shopping. Lovely animal park and animals have a lot of space to roam around so doesn't feel like a zoo. Great conservation plans and reintroducing animal back to the wild. Down sides were some enclosures looked like there was nothing in, some also stated there were no... More

This is a must for children who love animals. You can take a picnic or get something to eat there. It is quite a walk for children and some of the elderly. All the children I know loved it there and were able to let of steam. There is also a playground for the children.

I was a bit concerned as what I would find, as the location is a bit hidden in the countryside, and was almost worried when I came across the entrance fee. However the park was much bigger than expected, and you are able to get a good view of most of the enclosures. A lot of time has been put... More

Had a great day out at Howletts with our two year old granddaughter. However it although it was a bright day, the sun was not very warming and quite a few of the animals decided it was warmer indoors and did not appear. The temperature rose later, but some pens were still empty. We particularly enjoyed the Gorilla's, for which... More

We went today as a birthday treat and the park itself is a great space to visit. However, what was deeply disappointing and shameful is the accessibility pricing. One of our children is disabled and usually this would mean that a concession rate child's ticket is available, with a concession for a carer. However, laziness or greed means that concessions... We have been here a number of times using our annual passes, and sure it’s much better value having the pass, and we have renewed the pass again recently. Every time we go we see something different, as these are wild animals they are not waiting for the visitors to showoff to, so each time we see something different. The... More

It was super to see all of the nocturnal animals at around 3-4 when we went in the winter afternoons, saw the snow leopard, clouded leopard and fishing cats, which we never normally see!

We had half a day to kill before heading back home so arrived here at 9.30am when the park opened. Wish we had all day as it was brilliant -best "zoo" ive been to. Lots of walking around -animals obviously well loved and cared for -and the staff were helpful and happy to answer my many questions about the animals.... More
