Had a great family day at the pleasure beach. Was a bit pricey but the security was excellent, there was loads to do with my 2 and newly 4 year old boys. Sun was shining, which obviously helped. I saw numerous cleaners and was amazed at the lack of wasps in June, especially around all the sticky drinks etc.. Prob... More

I won't go to the Pleasure Beach again, purely for the degrading experience at the entrance. I went with my two kids, aged 8 and 12, and was surprised that I was told I would be searched before stepping through the metal detector gates. Seems like they were searching for sandwiches that they do not allow into the park, despite... More

Weather was awful but had a great time at Blackpool pleasure beach. Rides were great fun for adults and Nikelodon land was fantastic for my son (nearly 3yrs old). The park is very expensive but the lack of waiting for rides made the value much better. Vallhaller ride is great. Only problem we had was with breast feeding, my wife... More

The last time I visited this park was in term time on a school day so all rides were walk on except the big one which had a very short queue. This review is done by an andreneline junkie so will feature reviews of the thrill rides. Valhalla 10/10 This is a very large water ride that is situated at... More

(minus the weather!) Myself, my wife & a friend visited the park on August bank holiday Monday and anticipated heavy ques, however thanks (or not) to the great British summer weather that wasn't the case. Despite getting absolutely soaked we didn't really have to que so the weather actually worked in our favor. We arrived at 10 am but thanks... More

As I am sat waiting for my husband and daughter in another endless queue for a jumped up travelling funfair ride I thought I would get a few things off my chest. Firstly the extortionate ticket price, we booked our tickets online the previous night as it would be "cheaper" although I do not call 22 pounds for a five... More

It's been a long while since I visit Blackpool and it was shabby then and hasn't improved much. I decided on a day trip this time as of all the hotels I have stayed in not one has been without problems. My main reason to visit was to take some friends visiting from abroad to go on the pleasure beach,... More

Opened on a Sunday at 11am even though they had previously said 10. Then speedy pass office closed as they could not find keys. Don't think this place is customer focussed at all, just a big money making machine.

We used to really enjoy walking around the Pleasure Beach with our children and grandchildren watching them enjoying the rides but we can not go on then due to back and hip problems, but now you charge an extortionate amount just to walk around we won't be visiting you again. Looks like the greedy millionaires want more of the poor... More

We enjoyed the Pleasure Beach and it was great for the kids, the queues move pretty quickly on the kids rides and I would advise getting there early and going on the big rides before everyone arrives. Buy a wristband and book them online, it's quick, simple and you get a little bit of a discount, also they are easy... More
