Only called here to see the deli & shop on our way back from Lincoln, but were very pleased we did! Layout is thoughtful & spacious, with the deli-counter taking centre stage (as it should!) vast variety of quality branded supplies to choose from, with eye catching displays everywhere you looked, special mention to the cheese counter - and to... Just loved the gardens here so much - gorgeously done and incredibly pretty. The house is impressive too, but the garden is the main draw.

I've been twice now to Doddington Hall. Before my first visit I was very excited by the website, the photos looked great. It is a breathtaking building and the surrounding converted barns are beautiful. The deli looks great too. The outside stall was filled with well priced good looking produce. I had a cheese scone in the cafe .. it... More

We are story to hear about the disappointment you experienced when visiting our cafe. We do accept that some cheese scones were undercooked the day you came and they were removed from sale later. Our Executive Chef is currently working on a new improved recipe for them with a view to preventing any potential problems with cooking times. Our Welbeck... More

We have been aware of this lovely building for some years and knew that it was occasionally open to the public so were delighted when on a recent visit to Lincoln we found that we had coincided with an open afternoon - Wednesdays from 1pm - 5pm. (also open on Sundays and Bank Holidays). What a delight! Visible from the... More

We buy our Xmas tree every year from here and have done for 20 years. There have been massive changes over the last few years. We used to buy our tree in the yard and there was a shed selling Xmas decorations. The Foreman, Geoff was absoultey brilliant and always made sure we found exactly the right tree and delivered... Make sure you check the opening times before setting out but once you can get in, it's gorgeous. Lots of interesting facts are in the free audio guide and make the place come alive. They occaisionally do chamber music recitals in the evening and this is the purfect setting for it. Look out for them on their website on via... More

Just a few lines to pass on and express my thanks to all the teams and staff at your wonderful venue. I was visiting my elderly parents last week who live in Long Bennington between Newark and Grantham. I live in Hereford. After a tough few days because dad is poorly, my sister, her friend and I had a ride... More

Doddington was a combination of lots of pleasant things which made for an enjoyable visit. We arrived at lunch and went straight to their cafe (reviewed separately) for a delicious quiche and jacket potato. We had a stroll through the lovely farm shop and bought some local produce to take home from Lincolnshire, and had a wander around the interiors... More

There is a lovely farm shop, and interior design shop too, but I think you need to be fairly well-to-do- to be happy spending your dough! My favourite time is at Christmas and the decorations shop. I took some friends from Peterborough this year, as it's literally 5 minutes down a lovely country road from me. They liked all the... More

Visited as not far from home. The house was very interesting with plenty of guides to ask about the house. Gardens were disappointing as the flowers weren't out because of the weather. It's unfortunate that you can't pay separately for the house as the gardens weren't in flower.
