Myself and my boyfriend wanted to see a musical when in London and didn't want to spend a fortune on tickets having never been before. I spotted tickets for matilda for £25 each second row from the back which can I say we still got a really got view of the stage which I had doubted that we would. The... More

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! My favourite childhood book perfectly translated to stage. The most amazing set I have ever seen. And kids who aren't annoying! Fun for the whole family. Well worth the ticket price. Wonderful!

The children were fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed it. However there were times that the music was too loud that you couldn't hear some off the actors speaking.

One of the most entertaining musicals we've seen. Full of lively songs & interesting characters. Great production. Worth the money. Everyone left with a smile on their face.

Amazing show, beautifully staged and just dark enough for true Dahl fans. We loved the songs, the acting and the dancing. I know we should think of something constructively critical to say but well we can't because we fell in love with Matilda.

I went with my Mom and her friend (both in their late 50's) and we all thoroughly enjoyed the show. Funnny, sweet and incredibly well performed. Mrs. Trunchbull was fantastic and seemed to leap right out of the book. The almost all-children cast was amazing. The only way this could have been better would have been if we had a... More

This has been the favorite book and film of the family since forever, so we were curious whether or not this musical could meet our high expectations. Well it exceeded everything we hoped for! The actors - children and adult - are just fantastic! The music, the acting, the dancing - everything was at the highest possible level. It took... More

Haunting, lilting songs; incredible melodies; a heart-warming storyline; acting that warms your cockles; jaw dropping sets; a great band/orch; tremendous singing from the cast's pint-sized croonettes . . . I mean, how can you miss? And Minchen doesn't get a tenth of the credit he deserves for elevating the English language through rhyme, wit, and cleverness.

We loved this show. Sat front row dress circle tickets were £65 each and we booked months ago. We all loved it and want to see it again.

I think reviews possibly make injustice to this musical, they oversell it. I would perhaps find it amazing if my expectations were not so high. It is admirable for the consistent performance of kids, but not special otherwise.
