The fun fair was there when we went. the prices were good and myself, my friend and our two toddlers had a fabulous day wandering round and particularly enjoyed to "beach" that was there over the holidays. A must for any brummie who misses the seaside

loved the fact it wasnt advertised massively so it was lovely and quiet, it was very quaint but the animals that were in there were fascinating ranging from goats to meerkats to pandas so you really did have a bit of everything. right next door to a beautiful park too so you could enjoy that before or after

Having grown up living near here for part of my life, this has always been a central focus of the area for other living nearby or for visitors. The maintenance of the park is impeccable from the cleanliness, landscaping to the upkeep of the facilities. Whether you come by yourself, with a dog or kids, this is a step away... More

This park is a pleasant half hour walk from my home along the River Rea. It is an excellent example of a Victorian park with well laid out gardens and excellent play facilities for children and wide open spaces to kick around a football. In the Summer there are boats for hire to take out onto the lake. It is... More

We go to this park at least once a year. It is a good flat stroll around. There is something there for everyone. Play things for the children, usually a little land train running, boats on the lake. Geese and swans to feed. A really nice day if the weather is fair.

if you go to Birmingham you need to visit this park. it is very soothing, natural and romantic. the best time to visit this place is anytime. we all loved it so much that we spent five hours just walking and taking in the views.

Very beautiful, just next to my house so I like go there and walk and just sit and have a look to the lake. When it's sunny it's even better !

I am quite nostalgic about this park as it was near where I lived when a child. It has changed over the years and no longer has a paddling pool but it is still a lovely park with a boating pool and a nice tea room. It was the venue for the tulip festival some years ago which was a... More

Beautiful garden, spending time with a true friend, sadly no longer with us. Here's to you John. x These gardens are well kept and are well worth a visit, if you are in the area, remember to take your camera, you will not be disappointed, we spent a very relaxing afternoon here.
